Mar 9, 02:33 PM: US States Visited
On the drive out to Pittsburgh on Saturday Judson mentioned that he could add another state to his list of US states he had visited. We got to talking about it and I decided to find a map I could color in with all the state I had visited in some way. I think there are 30 here so I’m over half way. I’ve color coded the states the white are the ones I have not yet visited.
- Purple is my home state Pennsylvania, I was born there, raised there, and lived there most of my life.
- Blue are places I have actually lived. I live in Charlotte, NC for one year and Atlanta, GA for 10 years.
- Yellow are states tat I have just driven thru. I know when I was a kid my family took driving vacations thru New England 2 years in a row so I’ve stayed over in some of those states but I don’t really remember.
- Orange are places that I have visited and stayed. At different time I’ve spent a week visiting my friend Shannon first in Texas then in California. Bob and I went to Vegas on a trip.
- Red are the states I’ve visited many time over. I have been on several trips to NYC for long weekends. I go to the beach in Florida with my friends every year.
The map is made for coloring I found it at Theodora.com then I just used MS Paint to color in my states. How many States have you visited? I’m sure I’ll visit them all but Hawaii is going to be a tough one.

Feb 29, 02:42 PM: Panda Hat!
This is the greatest hat ever! I found this on ebay and I have to have one. I emailed the makes to see if they can make me one a little bigger than the one in the auction. In the description they have it as sized for a 22” head. I think my head is more like 24”. I have a fitted ball cap I custom ordered from New Era the is a size (8 1/4) and it is a perfect fit. I know that fleece will stretch a little but I would rather have it a little big than a little small, tight hats will give you a killer headache in a short period of time. I hope they email me back and say yes, if not I think i can find someone else to make it. it looks simple enough, I wish I knew how to use a sewing machine!

Nov 9, 04:57 AM: Gift Ideas

With the holiday seasons approaching very fast I thought I would help you out with some gift ideas. Let me clarify, these are things for you to buy ME! My top 3 wish list items right now are:
- Digital Camera
- Computer Monitor
- Digital Recorder
Now listen I am picky picky picky when it come to my electronics so let me tell you in detail what I’m looking at for each of these items.
Digital Camera, I love taking snap shots and I hate the people who come to get together and won’t let you talk their picture. “Don’t I look fat” well you should have stayed at home fatso! For cameras I’m not hung up on brands or features I’m just looking for three things.
- It’s got to be small enough I can carry it in my pocket. I have the desire to take photos almost everywhere, if I had the right camera I’d carry it with me at all times.
- Very fast shutter speed less than a second, 0.7 – 0.5 seconds preferred. This eliminates the difficult people and cuts down on blurry photos.
- Covered lens, not just receded but completely covered. I don’t want it to get scratched while it’s in my pocket (see above).
I’m not concerned about mega pixels. I’d be happy with 4 or 5 but it seams like they have already jumped to 6+ so I think most anything on the market will be enough memory. Red eye reduction would be nice and most seam to have that feature but I can always fix redeye once I upload the photos.
OK I’m losing my enthusiasm for typing so I’ll post my spec for the other gifts later on.

Aug 30, 05:50 AM: Baccarat Churchills

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, I love cigars! This house is great for smoking to, it has a nice back deck that looks at some trees and it also has a small covered front porch so you can smoke in the rain. you can sit outside all night with a couple of beers and your cigars and smoke the night away.
I pretty much just smoke one brand of cigar, Baccarat. I like the Churchill Medium Brown but the Maduro is just as good. A good place to buy cigars is Smokes-Spirits.com. This site has the best prices I have found so far. And they will ship to wherever so if for example you lived somewhere like Georgia and wanted to send a gift to Pennsylvania, for like a birthday (October 5th), you could just log on that site with your credit card and BOOM done.

Jun 28, 05:53 AM: Long Way Down
I have been a fan of Ewan McGregor for many years. Along with being an excellent actor he is a motorcycle enthusiast and does the sort of things I wish I could do. He and his best friend Charley Boorman are currently on a journey from Scotland to South Africa dubbed ‘Long Way Down.’ In 2004 they traveled the ‘Long Way Round’, a trip from London to New York crossing Europe, Russia, and North America on motorcycles.
I have wanted to make a long distance motorcycle trip for many years but my attempts never seam to get passed the planning stages. Not currently owning a bike is one of the bigger drawbacks right now. I’ll do it some day and I have a feeling that once I make one big trip I will either make many many more or realize its way harder than it looks and give it up all together.
