For the most part I have reduced my World of Warcraft playing to just the money making part of the game. I monitor the auction houses every day and buy low priced items I can turn around and resell for a profit. I really like it and I’m pretty good at it.
So the other night I was dong my usual search of the available goods and I came across an incredible buy! Someone had listed a stack of magic crystals for a fraction of their real value. Almost immediately after I closed the deal the seller contacted me frantic that she had not meant to sell those crystals and could she but them back at cost. When I looked at the profit margin I really wanted to say “NO” but in the interest of public relations I agreed. As I waited for her to come pick up her crystals she said that she was glad that it was me who had bought the auction. I told her I prided myself on being a fair businessman and she agreed that I was and in fact she says she buys most of her auctions from me and had recognized my name. That made my whole weekend! I may not be the first to slay the dragon or beat back the Horde single handedly but I am the Merchant King of Azeroth!
