Many people don’t realize this but there are actually 2 very different holidays celebrated on December 25th.
The first one is Christmas, this is the one most people think they celebrate. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ who came to teach us about love and forgiveness and made the world a much better place. This holiday is celebrated with song and fellowship, charity and goodwill toward our fellow man.
The second holiday is X-mas, this is the one most of us actually celebrate. X-mas is a celebration of consumerism, gluttony, and money. Money, Money, Money! This holiday is celebrated by sending money that you don’t have on gifts for everyone from your mailman to your dog in the hopes that either you yourself will also receive a butt load of gifts or you can buy that persons affection for another year or at least until their birthday.
