Three Panel Soul is the second web comic produced by Ian McConville (Artist) & Matt Boyd (Writer). Their first come Mac Hall (which was created by Ian – Matt came on board later) is still available as an archive although it is currently down while they move to a new server.

Mac Hall was a fun comic but focused on games and/or college life so if you are not into one or the other you might not quite get it. 3PS has less specific subject matter so I think it will appeal to a wider audience. What I like most about Mac Hall [now] is you can watch as Ian’s art style evolves as the comic progresses. 3PS’s black & white format marks another major leap in Ian’s artistic style. One which I like very much. Mac Hall was lunched in November of 2000 and ran thru September of ’06. 3PS was quietly launched that November and is schedule to update every Tuesday.
