Jul 15, 02:00 PM: Bob Hibbert

Today is the birthday of one of my oldest friends Robert L. Hibbert Jr. Bob and I have been like brothers ever since high school. We have been through a lot together all kinds of trips to concerts, hockey games, the beach, Vegas. He’s been to Georgia many times to visit me and I stay at his house when I go home to visit State College. We both ride motorcycles, smoke cigars, drink, and game (not all at once). So many hours of gaming! RPGs, video, boards, you name it we have played it. We have even made our own games.

Bob is my ultimate sounding board. So many times I have had an idea or decision that I either had too much to think about or could not finish the complete idea and then I run it by Bob and he gives me that last bit to make the whole thing gel.

Even thought we have not lived in the same town for over 10 years we are as close now if not closer than we have ever been. He is truly a brother to me.

Update: Bob got a very special gift today. His brother Jim has a new baby born today on Bob’s birthday.
